K.I.
First of all, Australia getting knocked out the World Cup the way they did was a bit of a blow.
Anyway, since then I've done a two day tour of Kangaroo Island which was amazing. There were seven of us on the trip, eight if you include Jamie our guide who was a good laugh and had loads of interesting stories about the island and previous groups he had shown around. Did too much to list here but highlights were sandboarding at Little Sahara, eating kangaroo fillets while sitting by the campfire, sleeping in a swag under the stars and a walk/climb by Snake Creek. Possibly the best part was on our return journey from the island to the mainland.
Our crossing to the island had been a fairly pedestrian crossing on the ferry but for our return we were on a small charter boat. The combination of a small boat and big waves made for a fantastic trip that felt a lot like the longest rollercoaster ride ever with a load of water and a beautiful sunset thrown in for good measure.
